It's time to update this post, after 80 very confused comments, I'll try to lay it out in a simple fashion that will help people figure it out. Please remember this is not my work, I'm just the guy consolidating all the information.

Vista tries to limit some applications when they are opened by the usual double click or shortcut, most spoofing software seems to fall into this category. To run a spoofing aplication in Vista;

Please try to direct questions to the forums, you're much more likely to get a helpful response than asking a question in the comments below.
